Nigeria Thursday recorded six COVID-19-related deaths and 226 fresh cases across 14 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

The fresh cases showed a decline from Wednesday’s 251 cases.

With the update, the number of Nigeria’s confirmed infections is now 208,630.

Death toll has also risen to 2,767, while 196, 326 people have been discharged.

Active cases are 9,537.

According to the NCDC figures, the FCT reported 73 cases while Plateau reported 34.

Lagos reported 25 cases, Gombe 22, Abia 16 and Osun 13.

Nasarawa recorded just one case.

“Today’s report includes: four states with zero cases reported: Bauchi, Ogun, ondo, and Sokoto,” NCDC stated.

The NCDC said that over 3,142,971 million samples have been tested.
