Sheikh Gumi’s stepmom Bintu is dead

Aminatu Bintu, the stepmother of controversial Islamic cleric Sheik Ahmad Gumi, is dead.

Bintu, who is also the widow of the late Sheikh Abubakar Gumi and mother of Brigadier General Abdulkadir Gumi, died this morning.

She died at the 44 Army Reference Hospital Kaduna.

A funeral prayer will be done after Asr prayers at No.11 Modibbo Adama Road, Kaduna.
