Ancelotti announces Madrid squad for El Clasico

Carlo Ancelotti has named his Madrid squad for the El Clasico clash with Barcelona at the Camp Nou on Sunday.

The squad line-up was released on the club’s website Saturday evening.

It is made up of:

Goalkeepers: Courtois, Lunin and Luis López.

Defenders: Carvajal, E. Militão, Alaba, Vallejo, Nacho, Marcelo and Mendy.

Midfielders: Kroos, Modrić, Casemiro, Valverde, Lucas V., Camavinga and Blanco.

Forwards: Hazard, Benzema, Asensio, Vini Jr., Rodrygo and Mariano.

The match will be played at 15.15 Nigerian time on Sunday.

Madrid with eight matches played are third on the LaLiga table with 17 points.

Real Sociedad are tops with 20 points and Osasuna second with 18.

Barcelona, struggling to find a rhythm for the season are 7th with 15 points.
