Thomas Tuchel has expressed delight and praised his whole team for their performance in their 7-0 thrashing of Norwich City.
The German said he was impressed by the performance, the attitude and overall approach of his players to the match.
‘When we put on the shirt we want to do what we do at the best level on this day and from the very start,’ he said ‘I’m very happy with the performance and very happy with the intensity and very happy with the effort that we put into this game.
‘It was our fourth consecutive game as favourites and I like how we approach these games. There is no judging and there is no holding back. We played all in and that is what I like a lot, that’s why we deserve these victories at the moment and that’s the key.
Tuchel also praised Mason Mount for his hat-trick heroics stating that he is very proud of him.
‘I feel him a little bit lighter, playing with a bit more freedom in the last few matches and this is what we need. There were a lot of games, and still are a lot of games, for him at a very young age.
‘He’s very competitive and very serious about his goals that he wants to reach. So I feel him a bit lighter now and it means a lot to him that he has a hat-trick under his belt as an Academy boy.
