Nigeria on Tuesday recorded 159 new cases of COVID-19 in 13 States and the FCT, Nigeria Centre for Disease Control(NCDC) said in its latest update.
It said no COVID-19-related death was reported.
The centre said the FCT and Lagos recorded the highest numbers of new infections with both reporting 28 cases each.
Nasarawa followed with 25 cases, Plateau 24, Kwara 22.
Delta and Kano logged eight cases each, while Rivers had seven.
Three states Edo, Bauchi and Bayelsa had two cases each, while Kaduna, Sokoto and Taraba reported a case each.
“8 confirmed cases reported from Delta state for October 25th (5) & 26th (3). 25 confirmed cases reported from Nasarawa state for October 24th 2021”, NCDC explained.
Confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country have now risen to 211,330.
NCDC said 202,803 COVID-19 patients have recovered, while death toll remained unchanged at 2,884.
