Brighton hold Liverpool at Anfield

Brighton came from two goals down to hold Liverpool to a 2-2 draw at Anfield Stadium on Saturday.

Jordan Henderson opened scoring for Liverpool on four minutes as he tried his luck from the edge of the box and scored with an accurate shot inside the left post. Mohamed Salah provided the assist for the goal.

Liverpool were 2-0 upon 24 minutes through Sadio Mane.

A perfect lofted pass from Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain found Mane, who jumped highest and steered a close-range header into the left side of the goal.

His effort was both strong and precise, and Robert Sanchez had no chance of stopping the ball.

Brighton pulled oneback on 41 minutes from Enock Mwepu stunning strike.

He fired a stunning volley towards goal from long-range and the ball went into the roof of the net after flying past the goalkeeper.

Brighton equalised on 65 minutes through Leandro Trossard.

He pounced on a loose ball inside the box and beat the goalkeeper with a shot into the bottom left corner.
