Manchester United bounced back after a disastrous week to thrash Tottenham 3-0 at White Hart Lane Stadium on Saturday.

United were thrashed 5-0 by Liverpool last weekend at Old Trafford and 4-2 by Leicester City two weeks ago.

A determined United came for a win at White Hart Lane to salvage their pride.

Cristiano Ronaldo opened scoring for United on 39 minutes.

Bruno Fernandes had played the ball to Ronaldo who found himself unmarked inside the box and slotted a first-time shot past Hugo Lloris into the bottom left corner.

Ronaldo then sets up Edinson Cavani for United’s second goal on 64 minutes.

Cavani picked up a pass and got to the edge of the box before clipping a brilliant lob over the goalkeeper and into the empty net.

The visitors made it 3-0 through substitute Marcus Rashford.

Rashford was put through by Nemanja Matic and he showed brilliant composure inside the box to fire into the bottom right corner.
