You're playing dustbin politics: Gov. Fayemi replies AGG

Gov. Fayemi, Chairman, Nigerian Governors' Forum

The Governor of Ekiti, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, said a group called Agents of Good Governance, AGG, were playing “gutter and dustbin politics.

Fayemi gave the response, via Mr. Yinka Oyebode, his Chief Press Secretary, after the group alleged that he and his wife, Erelu Bisi, have anointed the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji to take over in 2022.

The letter from the group was signed by its Chairman and Secretary, Femi Awolumate and Abdullahi Lawal, respectively.

However, Oyebode, who spoke on behalf of Fayemi, denied the allegation.

He described the allegation as coming from people who engaged in what he called “gutter and dustbin politics and from paperweight politicians”.

He said the people spreading the rumor had no electoral value and were afraid of their own shadows.
