Buhari presides over Security Council Meeting (Photos)

President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday presided over the Security Council Meeting at the State House, in Abuja, North Central Nigeria.

At the meeting were the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, Chief of Staff to the President, Prof Ibrahim Gambari; National Security Adviser (NSA), Major General Babagana Monguno (rtd) and the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Leo Irabor.

The three service chiefs of Army, Navy and Air Force as well as the Inspector General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba, were also attending the meeting.

Buhari and Osinbajo used the occasion to decorate Col. YM Dodo (Aide de Camp to the President) to his new rank of Colonel shortly before the president presided over Security Council Meeting.
