BSTAN Group has unveiled Abba Yusuf Bichi, son of the Director General of the Department of State Services (DSS), as its First Youth Ambassador for the HomeTitan Network.
The announcement was made in Abuja Thursday by the managing director, Becky Olubukola.
Becky said the company signed the “young, vibrant footballer” in its bid to “promote youth development, socio-cultural integration, and unity in our diversity in Nigeria”.
“We believe that irrespective of ethnicity, tribe, religious belief, or cultural value, we are of the same dispensation.
“We are a non-sectarian (non-tribalistic) organization that sees the great potentials of the youths as the leaders of tomorrow. We want to help harness these potentials to become whoever they want to be”, Becky declared at the ceremony at the company’s headquarters.
She described Abba Bichi as a young man with a promising future.
She said he is a great talent and a vibrant youth, who is super intelligent and also a great mind.
The Daily Trust reported that Abba Bichi was handed the keys to a five-bedroom duplex at Hilltop Estate, Apo, Abuja, as part of the perks of his ambassadorial job.
According to the Group Managing Director of BSTAN, Engr. Becky Olubukola, the duplex is worth N90 million.
Bichi thanked the group for the honour and gift, while appreciating his family and friends for their support.
“This is not for me alone but this is for the youth. Know that wherever you are, strive to achieve greatness,” he said.
Abba Bichi made the headlines when billionaire businessman, Obinna Iyiegbu, also known as Obi Cubana, was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) earlier in the month.
He described the businessman, who was arrested over alleged money laundering, as a man of honour.
