NCDC records 41 new Covid-19 cases, no deaths

Six Nigerian states recorded 41 new COVID-19 cases on Friday, according to Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

Lagos logged 17 cases, Plateau 10 cases, while and Bauchi, Kano and Rivers recorded four cases each.

Niger State, which was added, recorded two new cases on Nov. 21.

In contrast, 65 cases were reported on Thursday.

NCDC said the fatality toll remained at 2,975, as no additional death was reported.

The confirmed cases increased to 213,924 and active cases 3,833.

NCDC stated that 207,114 victims had been successfully treated and discharged from hospitals.

Nigeria has tested 3.4 million samples since it recorded its first COVID-19 case in February 2020.
