Few days after he stirred some dust for meeting IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu in DSS headquarters in Abuja, Senate chief whip Orji Uzor Kalu has sent tongues wagging again.

This followed his series of meetings with opposition figures.

Orji Kalu, a member of the ruling APC, first met former senate President Anyim Pius Anyim, who has declared interest in the 2023 presidential race.

A day after, he met Senator Samuel Anyanwu, who will on 9 December officially become the national secretary of the PDP.

All the meetings took place in Kalu’s Abuja home, behind closed doors.

Kalu who had also hosted the APC National leader, is rumoured to be coveting the presidency.

He reported all his meetings on Facebook, partly to assuage fears about his political moves.

On Wednesday, he reported the meeting with Pius Anyim.
