Popular comedian and Nollywood actor, Ime Bishop alias Okon Lagos, has announced the death of his mother.
The actor announced her mother’s death in an Instagram post on Saturday revealing that her death has depleted him and left him numb.
“You could have just waited just a bit. I am depleted and numb. It’s my own mother. I’ve lost her. #okonlagos #okonrepublic #iyammi#chisos #wosappen #okonoflagosz,” he wrote.
The actor, however, did not share when exactly or how his mother died.
Okon Lagos as he is fondly called hails from Nsit Ibom, Akwa Ibom state.
He graduated from the University of Uyo where he studied Philosophy.
Okon Lagos started his acting career from childhood and he has featured in over 100 movies.
He shot to limelight after featuring in indigenous movie, “Uyai”, which was produced by Emem Isongin 2008.
The actor is married to Idara Bishop since 2013 and their marriage is blessed with two children.
