Appeal Court workers who arrived late to work today got the shock of their lives when they were locked out from the court premises.
Security personnel at the entrance said they were directed by the court’s President, Justice Monica Dongban-Mensem, to lock out the latecomers.
Many staff, including directors were forced to park their vehicles at the court’s main entrance gate.
Their vehicles, including staff buses, soon piled up to the main road leading to the Federal Secretariat and the Force headquarters, thus affecting normal traffic flow.
Policemen have been drafted to the scene to help control traffic and secure the vehicles, The Nation reported.
