Lagos reports 76 percent of new COVID-19 cases

Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu:COVID-19 cases on the rise in Lagos

Lagos accounted for 76 percent of the new 1355 cases of COVID-19 and the whole three deaths for Wednesday 29 December.

According to NCDC figures, Lagos recorded 507 cases on Wednesday and also recorded a backlog of 529 cases on 28 December.

Lagos had earlier reported just 35 cases for 28 December, which now means that 564 is the number of cases for the day.

Lagos now has confirmed cases of 93, 754 cases. Abuja follows with 27,104 cases.
