Lokoja city CAN commences week of prayer

The Chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, in Lokoja, the Kogi State capital is to commence this year 2022 Universal Week of Prayer on Monday, 3rd January.

A statement by the the Lokoja LGA CAN Coordinator, Pastor Babatunde John Oluwole said the theme for this year is: “No More Shame” taken from Isaiah 54v4.

According to the Statement, the Universal Week of Prayer which will start on the 3rd to Sunday the 9th of January at 4:30pm daily is expected to take place as follows; Monday @ C&S Movt Church, district headquarters Lokoja, Tuesday @ 1st Baptist Church Lokoja, Wednesday @ Immaculate Conception Catholic church, Thursday @ The Knowledge of the Truth Ministry Lokoja, Friday @ The First ECWA Church, Saturday @ The Apostolic Church Ajara Quarters and Sunday @ the Holy Trinity Anglican Cathedral.

The following Ministers of God are expected at the programme; the State CAN Chairman Bishop John Ibenu, Bishop Ted Bako, Special Apostle Adebayo Olaniyan, Reverend Ogakwu Malachi, Reverend Theophilus Ajala, Reverend Father Kingsley Agbo and Reverend Frank Paul.

It enjoined the people to be prompt at the programme and be prepared to have an encounter with the Lord for a great, wonderful and prosperous year.
