President Buhari sends message to Enyi 1 of Aba

President Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated the Chairman of Aba Traditional Council, Dr Isaac Ikonne, Enyi I of Aba, on his 93rd birthday, joining family and friends to celebrate with the paramount ruler.

This is contained in a statement issued by the president’s spokesman, Mr Femi Adesina, on Saturday in Abuja.

He felicitated members of the Abia Traditional Council, sons and daughters of the community and the entire Abia State on another milestone of longevity, courage and steadfastness in service to the nation and humanity by Ikonne.

The president appreciated the traditional ruler’s commitment to the unity and growth of the country.

He also commended the revered traditional ruler for the many strides in his domain since he ascended the throne, with marked difference in the rising interest for education, entrepreneurship and, most significantly, a sense of communality, which breeds peace.

President Buhari prayed that the Almighty God would continue to grant Ikonne good health and strength.
