President Muhammadu Buhari has condoled with the family of Amb (Prof) Lawrence Baraebibai Ekpebu, over the death of the accomplished diplomat, author and educationist.
Buhari also sent his condolences to the families of Orokuro and Efere in Olodani and Kalama compound, respectively in Bayelsa State, over Amb Ekpebu’s passing.
The president in a message issued by Femi Adesina, his Special Adviser on Media & Publicity on Thursday, commiserated with the families, friends and professional associates of the diplomat.
The president said Ekpebu’s influence in his community will always be remembered, especially in projecting the values of peace and unity among the people.
Buhari prayed for the repose of the soul of the departed scholar, and God’s comforting arms over the family.
