Napoli have announced that striker Victor Osimhen has recovered from COVID-19 and will return to Italy soon.

The striker returned a positive Covid-19 test in December shortly before he was supposed to return to Italy to undergo medical examination on his cheekbone injury.
The injury had ruled him out for at least three months.
Osimhen also missed out on playing with the Super Eagles at African Cup of Nation (AFCON), which begins today, after he returned a positive Covid-19 test.
The player will undergo medical examinations upon his return to Italy and could be available for Napoli’s upcoming Serie A games.
