Democrat Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has contracted COVID-19, days after she reportedly partied maskless in Miami.

The Bronx Representative, 32, made the announcement on her official Twitter page Sunday night, with an official statement by her office.

‘She is experiencing symptoms and is recovering at home. The Congresswoman received her booster shot this Fall, and encourages everyone to get their booster and follow all CDC guidance,’ the statement added.

According to govtrack.us, no fewer than 104 representatives and senators have been diagnosed with COVID-19.

One of them subsequently died of COVID-19.

In all, 155 representatives and senators either were diagnosed with COVID-19, self-quarantined after exposure to someone with COVID-19, or reported exposure but took other action or no action — some multiple times.
