Veteran musician Dayo Kujore is dead

Veteran Juju musician, Dayo Kujore, has passed away at the age of 63.

The singer was confirmed dead at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) Ikeja, Lagos.

Punch reported that Dayo Kujore’s daughter confirmed the incident.

However, circumstances surrounding the ‘Soko Extra’ crooner’s death are yet to be revealed as a formal announcement is expected to be made by the family.

Kujore was among the pioneers of the Nigerian-styled musical art form.
