Nigerian students under the aegis of The Asiwaju National Students Support Organization (ANSSO), have officially endorsed Bola Tinubu after his declaration to run for president in 2023.
The coordinator of the group, Comrade Giwa Murtala Omotola, however, urged all Nigerians regardless of religious, tribal, and social class differences to support Tinubu.
Giwa said Tinubu owns the brightest political and social profile to consolidate on the Next Level policy document launched by President Muhammadu Buhari, in 2015.
He added that Tinubu a devoted Yoruba Muslim married to a devoted Christian Oluremi Tinubu is a clear answer to Nigeria’s religious quagmire.
He further stated that “As a bridge-builder with a great personality and mentality that recognizes all and sundry, which is evident in his chunk relationship with the Northern region of the country, there cannot be a better and trusted replacement for President Buhari come 2023, Nigerians need continuity of the Next Level document so as to build a country of their dream.”
Giwa added that: “Tinubu has extensive vision, rich experience and striking intelligence and networks of vital contacts, sense of equity, justice and fairness with high regard for the rule of law, an exceptional manager of resources and seasoned administrator, a patriot, in action and a leading light who sacrificed under FEDECO to preserve our democracy.
“Nigerian students today for the aforementioned reasons and many more backs a detribalized strategic thinker with a national outlook and balanced judgment whose strides in the nation’s political landscape remain outstanding, to avail the nation with his colossal wealth of experience, exceptional and visionary qualities.”
