Troops of Operation Safe Haven

Thabitha Silas, abducted wife of the Deputy Chief of Staff, Plateau Deputy Governor’s Office has been rescued by the military.

She was rescued by troops of the Special Task Force, Operation Safe Haven, according to Maj. Ishaku Takwa, the Media Officer.

Thabita was rescued along with Dr Audu Samuel, the Medical Director Allah Na Kowa Clinic and Maternity Barkin Ladi.

The victims have been reunited with their families, Takwa said.

Thabita was kidnapped on Sunday, January 9, 2022, at her residence in Little Rayfield Jos, Plateau State.

Dr Audu was kidnapped on Monday, January 10, 2022, at his residence in Barikin Ladi by the same gang.
