Danish midfielder, Christian Eriksen is set for an emotional return to the Premier League, the UK Times reports.

The former Tottenham midfielder has been given the green light by specialists to play again after suffering a cardiac arrest during last summer’s Euros.

Eriksen has not played football since suffering a cardiac arrest while representing his country against Finland at Euro 2020.

The 29-year-old is now a free agent after his contract at Inter Milan was terminated.
