Nigerians have descended heavily on President Muhammadu Buhari after the Super Eagles crashed out of the African Cup of Nations, AFCON.
The Super Eagles lost 0-1 to the Carthage of Tunisia to crash out of the tournament.
Nigerians on Twitter blamed Eagles’ defeat on Buhari for calling the team shortly before the match.
Reno Omokri, a fiend of the president led the castigation of Buhari.
He said: “Oh oh! Why did NFF allow Buhari speak with the Super Eagles players now! What is wrong with NFF? Have they forgotten what happened after he spoke to Anthony Joshua? Or Eagles in the last AFCON? Please we want to win. This nonsense must not repeat itself!
“Iwobi red card, Iheanacho yellow card. All the time they have been playing this never happened. Why is it that it is the day they spoke to Buhari that these series of unwelcome events rained on us! Energies are very contagious. Avoid negative people!”
A user on Twitter, Yeye Kennie said: “When we said Buhari means bad luck una think say na joke New prayer point : May we not receive calls from any Buhari.”

Buhari did to Super Eagles what he did to Nigeria's economy.

Iwobi saw the red card right inside Buhari ‘s eyes. See the way he is visibly sad. He could not even hide it. #Nigeriavstunisia pic.twitter.com/nR5QaIeaCN
