Critic and former lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani has mocked President Muhammadu Buhari following Super Eagles’ AFCON debacle on Sunday.
The Super Eagles crashed out of the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cameroon on Sunday, losing 0-1 to the Carthage of Tunisia.
Sani took to his twitter handle to mock Buhari, saying he touched the pigeon, it refused to fly.
He added that Buhari talked with the Super Eagles and they refused to fly.
Sani wrote: “He touchth the pigeon, it refused to fly. He talkedth to the Eagle, it refused to fly.

He also lamented the military coup in Burkina Faso and called on ECOWAS to do more.
“Military Coup in Burkina Faso; democracy is imperiled in West Africa; ECOWAS must wake up and do more,” he said.
