President Muhammadu Buhari has commiserated with Hon. Gudaji Kazaure over the passing of his father and prominent Kano businessman, Alhaji Muhammadu Maikanti Kazaure.
This is contained in a press statement issued by Malam Garba Shehu, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media & Publicity.
Hon. Gudaji, who represents Kazaure/Roni/Yankwashi federal constituency, is one of President Buhari’s pillars of support in the National Assembly.
In a message to the bereaved legislator, Buhari described the deceased as a good man who lived for others.
He said the deceased will be remembered as a voice for the impoverished and his selfless service to the community.
On behalf of the First Family and the nation, President Buhari extended condolences to the Kazaure Emirate Council and to the government and people of Jigawa State.
