Former Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has reportedly flown to London, United Kingdom less than three months he arrived Nigeria after medical treatment.
Tinubu declared his interest to vie for the presidency early this month after meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari to inform him.
Since his declaration, the National leader of APC has been consulting with different interest groups on his presidential ambition.
He had met with former Military President, General Ibrahim Babangida (Rtd) on his ambition and also met with several other interest groups.
It was gathered that the governor travelled abroad to meet with his family before returning to the country to continue his presidential aspiration.
A close source to the former governor told The Cable that Tinubu has travelled to London to meet with his family.
Earlier report said Tinubu has travelled to London to rest after several weeks of consultations.
The former governor’s political ambition is gathering momentum across the country, with some supporting his move and others for fear telling him not to dare.
Several calls to Tinubu’s spokesman, Tunde Rahman to get his reaction were not picked.
The former governor had spent three months in London were he did surgery on his knees and waited until he fully recovered.
