Huge fire near London’s Acton Town train station

A huge fire next door to Acton Town train station in west London, has led to its closure and passengers fleeing onto the streets.

My London reported that the fire erupted on Bollo Lane, close to the Underground station.

Dramatic pictures and videos on social media show flames and smoke billowing from the scene and over the wall to the station platforms.

One witness described the scene as ‘apocalyptic’.

The station is surrounded by emergency services, with one witness reported a garage on fire.
