Nigeria’s President, Muhammadu Buhari is flying out to Brussel, Belgium today for another summit.
Personal Assistant to the President on New Media, Bashir Ahmad disclosed this on his twitter handle on Tuesday.
According to Bashir, Buhari would depart Abuja today to join European and other African leaders as well as heads of multilateral organisations at the 6th European Union-African Union (EU-AU) Summit in Brussels, Belgium.
He said the president is expected back into the country on Saturday.
“President Muhammadu Buhari will depart Abuja today to join European and other African leaders as well as heads of multilateral organisations at the 6th European Union-African Union (EU-AU) Summit in Brussels, Belgium. The President is expected back in the country on Saturday,” he twitted.
Buhari earlier this month attended the 35th Ordinary Session of Assembly of the African Union Heads of State and Government in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
He returned to Abuja after the meeting on 7 February, 2022.
