This was part of the outcome of the third economic council meeting presided over by the Commissioner for Finance, Budget, and Economic Planning, Asiwaju Idris Asiru in Lokoja on Friday.
The economic council directed the contractor handling the rice mill project to hand it over to the Commissioner for Agriculture with immediate effect.

He called on each local government to take full charge and ensure that people extorting money under the pretense of revenue collection in the state be made to vacate the roads within the next 24 hours.
Chairmen of the 21 local government councils were also directed to submit their proposals to the implementation committee of ‘One Local Government, One Product’ initiatives.
