Three people died on Monday after a fighter plane crashed into a sports centre in the Iranian region of Tabriz.
Tasnim news agency reported the plane crashed into Shahid Alipour Sports Hall on Monjem Boulevard in Tabriz.
The plane hit the ground near a school, which was closed at the time, and smashed into the sports hall.
The crash ignited a huge blaze at the centre, requiring a fire fighting operation at the site.
Iranian state TV said at least three people were killed in the crash.
Two of them were the plane’s pilots.
The third person killed was a pedestrian, it added.
