President Muhammadu Buhari has sent warm felicitations to Alhaji Nuhu Ahmad Wabi on his appointment as 10th Emir of Jama’are.
He is to succeed his father, Alhaji Ahmadu Muhammadu Wabi, who reigned on the throne for 52 years.
This is contained in a statement issued by Garba Shehu, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media & Publicity.
The President congratulated family members, the Jama’are Emirate Council, government and the people of Bauchi State on their choice to pick the new Emir.
Before taking over his father’s royal duties, Nuhu worked with the Federal Ministry of Works and Housing, Bauchi State Civil Service and rose to the position of Permanent Secretary.
As the Yarima (Crown Prince) takes up his royal duties, Buhari urged full commitment to the well-being of his domain, especially in keeping civic duties and working for the greater good of the country.
