Nigeria is a country of absurdities and as a former army chief once said, a country where anything can happen.
Another oddity just enacted by wives of Nigerian governors has burst into the social media , after they flew a cake to Aisha Buhari in Dubai, her second home.
She is reportedly convalescing there for an undisclosed illness.
Perhaps in consideration of this, the wives of governors chose to fly a birthday cake to her and sing ‘happy birthday’.
They even asked her ‘how old are you now’, in the shocking video that has gone viral.
The exact date of the video is not known , but the women, led by Bisi Fayemi, wife of the NGF president, Kayode Fayemi, were said to have visited Aisha, after the birthday.
Aisha clocked 51 on 17 February, not a milestone like 50 or 55.
But the women, most likely to be wives of APC governors, were undeterred as they wasted Nigerian taxpayers money for what is obviously a jamboree.
