Eriksen wins in first start for Brentford

Christian Eriksen’s Brentford beat relegation bound Norwich 3-1 on Saturday, the first full game played by the Dane for the premier league club.

Eriksen’s football career was thought over after he suffered a cardiac arrest during his country’s Euro 2020 match against Finland last year.

He was then with AC Milan, which went on to cancel his contract.

After his recovery, Brentford decided to give the Danish player a second chance.

The 30-year-old came off the bench last weekend during the side’s 2-0 home defeat against Newcastle.
