Andrew Nice, the driver of the BRT where Oluwabamise Ayanwole was kidnapped has narrated how the 22-year-old lady was abducted.

Ayanwole, who had been declared missing was found dead  on Carter Bridge by Ogogoro Community, Lagos Island, on Monday.

The BRT driver Nice was later arrested in Ogun State by the Department of State Services (DSS) and handed over to the Lagos Police Command.

Nice was paraded by the Lagos Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Alabi on Monday at the Command’s headquarters in Ikeja.

Narrating how Oluwabamise was kidnapped, Nice, who spoke in pidgin English said he picked her from Chevron and three other guys along the way.

He said the three passengers showed him their guns and told him to cooperate, saying that once he saw their weapons, he was not himself anymore.

According to him, fear came upon him and that he did whatever they ordered him to do.

Nice explained that he was asked to follow Carter Bridge, which he did, adding that he was asked to stop on top of the bridge.

After he was asked to open the door, he said the three men dragged Oluwabamise along with them, as she started crying, but that he could do nothing to help her.

Nice said he ran away instead of reporting the matter to the police because he was afraid.

In his words in pidgin English: “I picked her from Chevron, and the other three guys at …when those guys show me his weapon as I was inside, I can’t be myself anymore.

“Fears have come in, so, whatever the man with the gun told me, I do. I followed that Carter Bridge, that overhead bridge, they ordered me to stop there, they say I should open the door, when I open the door, then when they come down, they now start dragging her, when I saw that she was crying for help, actually, I was helpless.”
