A fuel tanker has exploded at Mobil Filling Station at Alakara Bus Stop, Idi Oro Mushin, Lagos, Southwest Nigeria.
Balls of fire enveloped the atmosphere as the fuel tanker was said to have overturned and exploded.

Director General, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, Dr. Femi Oke-Osanyintolu said the agency responded to the situation in which a fully loaded fuel tanker overturned and caught fire.
“Multiple responders, including the agency firefighters, Lagos Fire Service and the federal fire service have prevented the fire from spreading to adjoining buildings,” he said.
