National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu on Friday met with Ebonyi State Governor, David Umahi in Abuja.
The duo are aspiring to become the president of Nigeria in 2023 on the platform of the APC.
Umahi was at Tinubu’s residence in Abuja on Friday morning.
Umahi had said when he declared for presidency in January 2023 that he was not afraid enter into the race with Tinubu and others considered as the ‘big guns.’
He is currently struggling to retain his seat as governor of Ebonyi State after he was sacked by the court for defecting to the APC few days ago.
Umahi has appealed the judgement of the lower court as is eagerly awaiting his fate at the Appeal Court.
His visit to Tinubu was not known as at the time of filing this report.
