Nigerian singer and songwriter, Doe Billz, has been confirmed as one of the performing artists for ‘BAHAMAS EASTER ON THE CAPE FEST 2022’.

Announcing the list of performers for the event, the founder & ceo of Bahamas Entertainment, Bright Okosodo said Doe Billz was chosen as one of the supporting artistes for the event because he is one of the few Capetown based, Nigerian artists on the rise and making waves.

The first edition of the event was held in 2019, but due to Covid 19 pandemic, the subsequent lockdowns and restrictions, the 2020 & 2021 editions were both cancelled and postponed.

The delayed 2nd edition is scheduled to make a return on Easter Monday, April 18th 2022 at Camps Bay beach. The event will showcase Cape Town based Nigerian and South African musicians & comedians, and is aimed at fighting homophobia and fostering a healthy relationship between Nigerian artists and their South African counterparts.

In response to the announcement, Doe Billz said he feels special to have made the list of performers.

“I am honoured to be selected to perform at this event. It feels really good to be deemed worthy of performing on such a prestigious platform,” he added.

Desmond Obianuju Enujeko aka ‘DOE BILLZ’, relocated to South Africa in 2017 in pursuit of a musical career.

The singer, songwriter and performing artist currently lives in Capetown and is planning to release his debut EP project ‘PRESS PLAY’ in the summer.
