The retreat was put together by the Ministry of Environment and its sister agencies, the Ogun State Environmental Protection Agency OGEPA and Ogun State Waste Management Authority OGWAMA with the theme “Refocussing Strategies for Better Environmental Governance in Ogun State”.

He added that aside from the government – organised training and re-training, the state workforce should also harp on self development by joining professional bodies to further enhance their productivity and marketability in the global competitive market.

He, therefore, commended the Ministry of Environment and its sister agencies for putting together the two-day management retreat which he said will allow for bonding among the participants and have direct bearing on their environmental efficiency and productivity.
