The board has a three-year tenure, the minister stated.

Bolarinwa, Mohammed are locked in a battle with Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq for the control of Kwara APC.

Bolarinwa, a former council chairman in Lagos, lost the Kwara chairmanship last year.

Despite being re-elected in absentia by Mohammed’s faction he was not recognised by the Mai Mala Buni caretaker body.

Kwara APC is now being chaired by Sunday Fagbemi, an ally of Abdulrazaq.
