The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ademola Adeleke has given the reason he chose Prince Kola Adewusi as his running mate for the forthcoming Osun governorship election.
The Osun governorship election will take place on July 16, 2022.
Adeleke took to his Twitter handle on Wednesday to give the reason for his choice.
He said he and Adewusi shared a common goal, which is to rescue Osun State from bad governance.
Adeleke wrote: “I choose HON.PRINCE KOLA ADEWUSI as my running mate for the forthcoming gubernatorial election.
“We share a common goal which is to rescue the state from bad governance and set us on the path to recovery. So I urge all party loyalists and the great people of Osun to support us.”
The PDP governorship candidate is looking to unseat the incumbent governor, Adegboyega Oyetola, whom many people said has performed creditably.
