President Muhammadu Buhari has again met with his Ghanaian counterpart, Nana Akufo-Addo, behind closed doors in Abuja on Thursday.
The two regional leaders held a similar meeting on February 22 at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The agenda of the meeting was not made public at the time of filing this report.
Akufo-Addo is the current Chairman of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).
It is expected that the two leaders will discuss issues relating to crisis in the West African sub-region, especially incessant coups.
Akufo-Addo was elected by the 57th Ordinary Session of the Authority of Heads of State and Government of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) as the new Chairman of the Authority on September 9, 2020.
The president took over from President Mahamadou Issoufou of the Republic of Niger, who steered the activity of the Authority for a year.
