Ghanaian actor John Dumelo has vowed to walk barefooted from Accra to Lagos if the Super Eagles of Nigeria defeated the Black Stars of Ghana in today’s world cup qualifier.
The Nigerian side will slug it out with their counterpart from Ghana in the first leg Play-off for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Dumelo took to his Instagram page on Friday to drop the challenge.
He said there was no way the Super Eagles would win the match against Ghana in Accra.
In his words: “There is no way Nigeria can win today’s match.
“If they do, I John Setor Dumelo will walk barefoot from Accra to Lagos tomorrow morning with my ginger on my head. Super Eagles my foot.”
Dumelo is a Ghanaian actor, farmer and politician. On 1 April 2014 he emerged as the first Ghanaian to hit a million likes on Facebook.
