Former House of Representatives member, Oladipupo Adebutu has declared that he is the Joshua that will take the Ogun people to the promised land.

Adebutu gave the assurance while giving his speech at his official declaration as governorship aspirants under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in Ogun State on Wednesday.

The event was attended by Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State and former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose.

He said the people of Ogun had suffered a lot under the All Progressives Congress.

He, however, declared that he would start his ward to ward campaign in the 236 wards in Ogun by next Tuesday.

Adebutu described Wike as a man with human kindness and that when other leaders of the party left, he stood firm and fought for the party.
