A Yaba Chief Magistrates’ Court on Thursday remanded a 35-year-old driver, Isaiah Oluwagbemileke, at Ikoyi Custodial Centre, Lagos, for robbing a man of his car and phones with a cutlass.

Oluwagbemileke is facing a two-count charge of conspiracy to commit robbery and committal of robbery.

His plea was, however, not taken.

The Chief Magistrate, Mrs L. Y. Balogun, ordered that the defendant be kept at the Ikoyi Custodial Centre, pending legal advice from the Lagos State Directorate of Public Prosecutions (DPP).

She adjourned the case till April 28 for DPP advice.
