Seyi Shay and partner welcome first child

Nigerian singer, Deborah Oluwaseyi Joshua, professionally known as Seyi Shay, has announced the birth of her first child.

She announced the arrival of the baby on Friday with a picture of herself heavily pregnant with the caption; “The Eagle has landed”.

“Thank you all for your well wishes. What a journey it has been. We love you,” she added.

Shay had earlier revealed the gender of her newborn, a girl. An intimate gender reveal party was held for her sometime last week.

In a recent interview with Blanck magazine, Shay said “I’m grateful for how far I’ve come, and I know I’m still on a journey.

“So, if this is just the middle, I’m grateful for the journey and looking forward to the future. I’m happy that I’m still progressing.
