APC begins sale of nomination forms this week

The All Progressives Congress (APC) will begin the sale of Nomination and Expression of Interest forms from Tuesday.

The exercise, which was scheduled to begin on Saturday, was postponed due to some logistics and administrative challenges.

There has been some public uproar after the party announced humongous fees for its forms.

The party fixed presidential nomination and expression of interest forms at N100 million.

Governorship aspirants will pay N50 million, while Senatorial aspirants will pay N20 million.

House of Representatives aspirants will pay N10 million, while State House of Assembly aspirants will pay N2 million.

Critics said the regime of fees has cast the ruling APC as party of the rich. the House of Representatives is N10 million, and that for the Senate is N20 million.

In contrast, the opposition PDP is selling its presidential nomination form at N40million.
