Bishop David Oyedepo of the Winners Chapel has warned those who attack the church as a pastime, to desist from doing so.
He said their fate will be like the Land Rover attempting to hit a mountain.
“Its rubber bumper will scatter”, Oyedepo said at Faith Tabernacle, Canaanland First Service on Sunday.
On Saturday, the respected priest had spoken on a similar theme, saying he will never be caught preaching or teaching against any church, till Jesus comes.
“Every persecution of any church persecution of Christ. Every troubler of his church earns tribulation for himself”, he said at the Covenant Hour of Prayer.
He then added: “God has his apostles, Satan also has his apostles, who represents him bodily”.
On Sunday, Oyedepo spoke on the theme divine favour.
He said favour is the cure for all misfortunes.
“It is our birthright, but there is what to do to trigger, provoke and sustain the flow of favour.
” God’s presence is what equals favour. God with a man is what equals favour”, he went on.
“By high favour, Mary never knew a man yet gave birth to the greatest mortal that walked on the face of the earth. Sarah had long ceased ovulating so there was nothing like egg talk less of eggs, yet the promise was born.
“In the name of Jesus, everyone on this ground and around the world who is connected to this service, the favour of miracle children is released in your life.
“Because favour is the cure for all misfortunes, today marks the end of all misfortunes in your life. Lift your two hands and ask for a definite encounter with God this morning via His word.”
