Makinde to meet Oyo PDP aspirants today

Some aspirants and party leaders in Oyo PDP are yet to agree on the candidates who will fly the party’s flag for various positions in the 2023 general election.
Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde has summoned all aspirants jostling for various political positions under the Peoples Democratic Party in 2023 for a meeting today, Monday, 25 April.
Confirming the scheduled meeting, the State Secretary of the party, Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke urged all aspirants to be punctual.
They are to converge at the Oyo State Government House, Ibadan by 11 am, Adeleke said.
Adeleke said, “This is to inform all aspirants for different elective political offices under Oyo State PDP that His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Oyo State and the leader of our party will like to meet with us all tomorrow Monday 25/04/2022 by 11 am prompt at the Government House, Agodi, Ibadan”.
According to reports, Makinde’s intervention becomes necessary due to wranglings and disagreements among aspirants
